Medical & Health Disclaimer

1. My Health Engineer is wellness and education, not healthcare
My Health Engineer provides general health education, self-directed planning tools, and structured lifestyle programs across five pillars: sleep, stress and nervous system, movement and exercise, hydration, and nutrition.
MHE is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app, its programs, or accompanying content is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Content is built on published mechanisms and evidence-based practice. It is general education aimed at a broad adult population, not a personal clinical assessment of you.
2. This is especially important for the four clinical-context programs
Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, and Cardiometabolic are lifestyle-support programs for people managing or wanting to understand these markers. They are not a substitute for diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment by a qualified clinician, and MHE does not adjust, recommend against, or comment on any prescribed medication.
If MHE content ever appears to conflict with your doctor's advice, follow your doctor. Always tell your prescribing clinician about significant diet, exercise, or supplement changes you're planning, particularly if you take medication for blood pressure, blood sugar, or cholesterol, where interactions with lifestyle change are real and monitored clinically.
3. Emergency and urgent symptoms
MHE is not a monitoring or emergency service. If you experience symptoms that concern you (chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, signs of a hypo/hyperglycaemic event, a blood pressure reading in the danger range, severe mood changes, or anything that feels seriously wrong), contact emergency services or your doctor immediately. Do not wait for an in-app notification or message us instead of seeking care.
Where the app surfaces a reading in a range associated with urgent risk (for example, very high blood pressure), it will tell you to seek medical attention rather than offering a lifestyle plan for that reading.
4. Supplements and "natural remedies"
Where MHE discusses supplements or dietary approaches, ratings and framing are evidence-graded and honest about uncertainty, including saying plainly when something is oversold or under-evidenced. This is educational content, not a personal recommendation to take any specific product, and does not replace discussing supplements with your pharmacist or doctor, especially alongside prescribed medication.
5. No individualised clinical assessment
Plans, targets, and content are generated from the information you provide and published population-level evidence. They are not equivalent to a clinical assessment by a doctor, dietitian, or other regulated health professional who can examine you directly and account for your full medical history.
6. Who this disclaimer applies to
This disclaimer applies to every user of the app, every program, and every piece of content MHE publishes (in-app, on the website, or in any associated materials), and should be read alongside the Terms of Service.
